On the volume pedal, there is a 'kick switch' than can be used to stop and start rhythm, add a break variation manually, or cause the 'glide' to take effect. There are buttons on the control panel which allow one to choose which effect the switch will perform. These choices are also saved on the 'memory' pistons between the keys and onto the RP-1 packs.

Also, under the lower manual is a knee lever that can be used similarly to the piano sustain pedal, to contol the sustain set with the sustain sliders. It also can turn on and off the play assist feature, allowing the organist to use their knee to control these features.

The MDR-1, an optional disk drive unit, can also remember registrations and can play back the song on the organ exactly as played, with registration changes happening live as it is played.
